Asian Beef, Broccoli and Linguine Salad
Grilled strips of beef round steak tossed with broccoli, linguine, sesame seeds and a ginger-soy dressing.
Yield: 24 servings
1. Combine soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic, sugar and red pepper flakes in saucepan; bring to boil and reduce by quarter. Remove from heat; cool slightly.

2. Stir in sesame oil.
Kikkoman reduced-sodium soy sauce2 cups
Water1 1/2 cups
Ginger, minced1 1/2 ounces
Garlic, minced1 1/2 ounces
Sugar3 tablespoons
Red pepper flakes2 teaspoons
Sesame oil3 tablespoons
3. Sprinkle round steaks with pepper; grill steaks to rare. Cool and thinly slice across the grain. Toss beef with 2 cups of dressing. Cover and chill.

Coarsely ground black pepper2 tablespoons
4. One to 2 hours before serving toss broccoli, linguine and sesame seeds with beef and remaining dressing. Cover and chill until serving.

5. For each serving: Plate 1-1/3 cups salad; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon green onion.

Linguine, cooked al dente, drained2 1/4 pounds
Sesame seeds, toasted3 ounces
Green onions, sliced1 1/2 cups
