Burger with Salsa Trio
Grilled burger spiced up with your choice of salsa: Southwest Salsa with mustard and corn, pineapple-onion Island Salsa or traditional Salsa Ole.
Yield: 24 servings
1. Grill beef patties to desired doneness, turning once. Keep hot.
Ground Beef Patties (4-ounces) (IMPS/NAMP 1136)24
2. For each serving: Brush cut sides of bun with oil; grill or broil until golden. Layer bottom half of bun with beef patty and 2 tablespoons salsa of choice. Top with remaining bun half.

Serve hot. Garnish plate with leaf lettuce, and tomato and onion slices.

Island salsa3 cups
Salsa Ole3 cups
Southwest Salsa: 
Southwest Salsa: Mix corn, relish, mustard, mustard seed and salt. Makes 3 cups.
Canned whole kernel corn, drained1 pound
Sweet pickle relish1 1/4 cups
Dijon-style mustard2 1/2 tablespoons
Mustard seed2 1/2 teaspoons
Salt1 teaspoon
Island Salsa: 
Island Salsa: Mix pineapple, onions, vinegar, cilantro, red pepper and salt. Makes 3 cups.
Canned crushed pineapple, drained1 1/8 pounds
Green onions, sliced3 ounces
White vinegar1/2 cup
Cilantro, chopped1/4 cup
Red pepper flakes1 1/2 teaspoons
Salt3/4 teaspoon
Salsa Ole: 
Salsa Ole: Mix tomatoes, onion, cilantro, wine, peppers and salt and pepper. Makes 3 cups.
Tomatoes, chopped1 1/8 pounds
Onion, chopped3 ounces
Cilantro, chopped3 tablespoons
Dry red wine3 tablespoons
Jalapeno peppers, minced1 1/2 teaspoons
Salt1 teaspoon
Pepper1 teaspoon
