Bacon Cheeseburgers on English Muffins
Ground beef patty stacked on a toasted English muffin with Colby and Muenster cheeses, sautéed mushrooms and onions and crumbled bacon bits.

1. Sauté sliced mushrooms in butter until tender; remove from heat and stir in green onions.
2. Broil ground beef patties to order. Season to taste. Toast English muffin halves.
3. To assemble: Top one muffin half with a slice of Colby cheese, a burger, 1 rounded tablespoon of mushrooms-onion mixture and 3/4 ounce of Muenster cheese (approximately 2 tablespoons).
Melt cheese under broiler. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
