Bistro Burger
Ground beef patty grilled to order, topped with caramelized onions, brie cheese and crisp bacon, served on a walnut bun. Try this! Signatures - French Bistro Burger: Replace walnut bun with French roll, split and toasted or grilled. Accompaniments--Classic Pommes Frites: Use large russet potatoes, thinly sliced on a mandoline leaving peel on. Top burger with walnuts and gruyere cheese. Garlic Mustard Mayonnaise can be used on a variety of burgers or roast beef sandwiches. Bistro Fries: Prepare fresh or frozen French fries; toss hot fries with garlic salt and chopped parsley. Garlic Mustard Mayonnaise: 
1. To make Garlic Mustard Mayonnaise: In bowl mix mayonnaise, mustard and garlic until thoroughly blended. Cover and refrigerate. Yield: 3-1/2 cups
Mayonnaise3 cups
Dijon-style mustard1/2 cup
Garlic, minced2 tablespoons
  
2. In large skillet sauté onions in oil over low heat until caramelized. Cover and keep hot.

3. For each serving, to order: Grill 1 patty to 157°F internal temperature. Season with salt and pepper. Top with 2 slices (about 1 ounce) cheese and melt under salamander.

Spread 1 tablespoon Garlic Mustard Mayonnaise on EACH cut side of one bun. Place grilled burger on bottom bun half. Top with 1 bacon slice, 1/2 ounce onions and bun top.

Plate and serve with Classic Pommes Frites and additional Garlic Mustard Mayonnaise.
